I've been asked so many times on how to fix Google Play "No Connection" error that I decided to write an article about it. I'll try to list all the possible solutions that hopefully will solve this frustrating problem for good on any Android device (Samsung Galaxy, Nexus, HTC,etc) or OS (2.0+, 4.0+, 5.0+, 6.0+, etc).

Google Play Store No Connection - Retry error message comes up when you try to access the Android market (aka Play Store) to download something or just browse it. Knowing that your internet is working fine one or more of a number of reasons may be the culprit. Cache, country restrictions, password problems, root access hash problems and tabular data encryption errors can all cause No Connection error in Google Play whether you're connected to the internet or not (wifi, 3G, or 4G doesn't matter). If you have checked your internet, given the correct password, tried rebooting the Android device and still get the error, try one of the following solutions.
